Dear Gov. Gavin Newsom,

I am writing to bring your attention to the reconciliation of the Winemem Wintu Tribe in Shasta. Your Truth and Healing council should attend to their efforts of bringing their salmon home by listening to the requests and suggestions of Chief Caleen Sisk.

Please watch this video about the Run4Salmon, a four year peaceful protest to support the Winnemem in their prayer to bring the salmon back to their tribal territory in a good way. Your “Truth and Healing Council” should consider California’s tribes a priority. Your leadership is necessary to influence the parties controlling water in Shasta.

Mauna Kea and beyond; One World Effort

Mauna Kea is the sacred birthplace of life for the Hawaiian Kingdom. Protecting this ancestor or “God” is synonymous with protecting all that is sacred on earth, the sacred being all that gives life and is life giving. The struggle to protect Mauna Kea is the same struggle we saw at Standing Rock and the same voice of humanity that is rising to speak to climate change. It is the voice of Greta Thunberg, it is the voice of Marianne Williamson, it is our voice and the voice of the planet calling out. It is the pain in our hearts that we see children in cages of violence against races. This voice is the voice of connection and empathy; of love and of the future.

My prayer is for unity; for all causes, all peoples of all walks of life to unite in a single understanding of our great potential under an allied vision. We are in a global crisis and action must be taken to transition into the future. The structures and options are available it is simply a matter of practice and initiation that we usher our selves foreword.

Similar to the way that we return to ourselves in health and wellness or reconnect with others in joy. Every time we make an effort and choose responsibly we initiate our belief in our unity and ability to make a difference.

May we all make choices that influence a better future, May we all take action with our words to propel truth speaking. May we all feel inspired to do good in this world.
